FMI 2 Transform

1.Double-click on the FMI Transform in the Toolbox to create it.

2.Click on the Transform to select it.

3.Click in the FMU File Path property and browse to the FMU file.

When the file is selected, read-only properties under Model Description and Selected Co-Simulation are populated.

1.Select in the Initialization Parameters property.

2.Use the Parameter Initialization dialog to select fixed parameters for the model. Use the Add >> button to select a parameter.

3.After a parameter is selected, you can change its value. Fixed parameters can be set only before starting the model, not while running it.

Click in the Logging property to select the levels of error and message logging the FMU will generate. This is useful for troubleshooting the FMU.
 
The logging levels are described in section 2.2.4 of the FMI standard.

Click in the Selected Signals property open the Selected Signals dialog. Use the Add >> button to select a Signal. The selected Signals/ports are exposed on the Transform and can be exported.

Enter the communication step size of the model in seconds.

If the model (FMU file) changes after the Transform is created, click the Reharness verb. If the ports change, re-export them and save the Harness.
