The MCC USB Device (DAQ) Transform connects MxVDev with a Measurement Computing USB-3105, USB-1208FS/LS, or SwitchAndSense.
To set up the Transform:
1.Install the appropriate drivers for your device and the Measurement Computing InstaCal utility.
2.Run the InstaCal utility (from the Start menu). Note the board number.
3.Enter the board number in the Transform's Selected Board Number property.
Tick Period: The Tick Period property only affects the AnalogOut ports. It sets the rate at which the D to A outputs are updated, on average. The Transform's AnalogIn ports are always updated as rapidly as possible.
Our recommendation for this device is to set all digital channels to be either input or output, and avoid changing analog outputs quickly when possible.
The MCC DAQ can be configured in InstaCal to behave as either a single-ended or differential DAQ. Note that changing the digital port direction for one port applies to all 8 ports in that port's group. When configured as single-ended, only the lower 4 ports are displayed. The displayed ports function as configured. InstaCal and DAQami must be installed.
