A Constant is a value or set of values defined before a test is run. Unlike Signals, Constants do not have a defined time component.
•Constants may be of type numeric or message.
•Constants may be added to tag groups.
•A tag group may have one or more Constants.
•Tag groups are defined in the Tags tab in Project Settings.
•The value of a Constant may change based on which tags are asserted; however, unlike Signals, Constants do not have time-based transitions.
•A Constant may be defined by a Calibration set. The current value of the Constant is determined by the active tag.
•Reactive Code, Custom Tolerances, Transition Editors, and Signal Generators may access the current value of a Constant.
•Loading a new Tag group may change the value of a Constant, however the value cannot change during execution of a TestCase.
