This transform is used to filter and parse a single record from a list of records present in a MOST stream-type parameter. The Transform is meant to work along with the MOST Receive Driver or MOST Master Transforms.

This Transform requires filter criteria which is configured as explained below. Depending on the filter conditions, it filters the record which satisfies the filter criteria specified and parses the stream to output as its parameter. If multiple records from the list satisfy the filter, the Transform outputs the first occurrence of the match.

Configuration

MSP1

1.Click the browse button (MSP2) in the Parser Configuration property to display the Parser Configuration form.

MSP3

2.Click the browse button (MSP4) for the Catalog Path to select the MOST catalog file.

3.Select an FBlock Name, Function Name, and OpType from their respective combo boxes. The parameters that can be filtered by the Transform are listed in the Parameter Name combo box.  Select the required parameter.

4.After the selection of stream parameter, the internal parameters of the stream type parameter are listed in Filter field. Specify the values for the parameter to configure the filter. If the value of parameter is left blank, the filter treats it as don’t-care field.

5.Click OK. The stream parameter and the parameters present in it become the inport and outports of the Transform.

MSP5

6.Connect the inport to the corresponding outport of the MOST Receive Driver or MOST Master Transform.

Notes:

The Transform is only able to filter and parse normal repeatable streams and short streams with parameters of standard data type.

It cannot parse Case streams.

It cannot parse repeatable streams with stream type parameters within it.
