This demonstration is designed for Danlaw marketing and others to demonstrate harnessing and testing ARM code with the PIL Transform.
The code compiled for the target system is a direct replacement for a user’s main function that additionally provides communication with the MxVDev environment. The Transform operates through the debugger interface to provide a lock step transmit/receive cycle. This means that the Transform can operate in both real-time and accelerated timing modes without requiring a time delay in the transform itself or in other transforms downstream from the device.
The following software is required for this demonstration:
•Trace32. This demonstration was tested with Release Sep 2017 SP1 (64-bit). See Download and Set up Trace32 Software.
•S32 Design Studio. This demonstration was tested with version 2018.R1. See Download and Install S32 Design Studio.
The demonstration is divided into two parts:
1. The Eclipse Project: Set up the Project in S32 Design Studio
2. The MxVDev Project: Harness the Eclipse project with MxSuite
