4.3.2.2 Signal Voltage Level in High Speed Mode

Measure the CAN bus output signal voltage levels in high-speed mode under the complete battery power voltage range of (9.0 to 16.0) V. Check if the levels meet the requirements

Set the supply voltage of the DUT to 9.0 V. Increase the battery voltage in steps of 1.0 V per minute. Measure the absolute voltage level on the CAN Bus line for each battery voltage.

Measure the bit time under the combinations of given conditions.

Choose a DUT message, and then measure the bit time between the recessive-to-dominant edges of the slopes of at least 20 consecutive bits and calculate the bit time of a single bit.

Acceptance Criteria:

The maximum bit time deviation shall be ± 0.35 % of the nominal bit time.
