4.3.2.3 Signal Voltage Level in Wake Up Mode

Measure the CAN bus output signal voltage levels in wakeup mode over the complete battery power voltage range. Check whether the voltage levels meet the requirements.

Measure the absolute voltage level on the CAN Bus line for each of the following battery

voltage levels:

6.0 V, 6.5 V, 7.0 V, 9.0 V, 12.0 V, 16.0 V, 18.0 V, 26.5 V.

Check the CTS to determine whether the DUT shall support operation at a supply

voltage of ≤9 V and ≥ 16 V.

Each voltage level shall be applied for at least 1 minute.

Add the oscilloscope plots to the test report displaying CAN line.

Measure the CAN bus output signal voltage levels in wake-up mode under the complete battery power voltage range (6.0 to 26.5) V. Check whether the voltage levels meet the

requirements. Measure the recessive voltage level on the CAN Bus line for each of the following battery voltage levels:

6.0 V, 6.5 V, 9.0 V, 12.0 V, 16.0 V, 18.0 V, 26.5 V.

Check the CTS to determine whether the DUT shall support operation at a supply voltage of ≤9 V and ≥ 16 V. Each voltage level shall last for at least 1 minute.

The maximum bit time deviation shall be ± 0.35 % of the nominal bit time.
