When a transition is received on Pause req, MxVDev displays a prompt similar to the following:

The text of the prompt may be included in the input signal, or if it is empty, the default prompt from the Transform's properties is used.

A pulse is transmitted on the Pause resp outport when the user clicks OK. You can create a trigger on the Signal such that it sets the TestCase to complete.

By putting the input and output Signals alone in a TestCase, you can effectively pause the test (while the TestCase is executing) for the duration of the TestCase (which can be thought of as the timeout period) or until the user clicks OK.

For an alternate approach, see MxV Shell Command System Signal.
